By providing your contact information (such as name, surname, postal address, email address, telephone, fax or mobile phone numbers) you explicitly grant your consent (“Consent”) for it, or for other information about transactions with you that we may have about you (“Personal Information”) to be held, by The Body Shop International plc and/or its subsidiary in Singapore, The Body Shop (Singapore) Pte Ltd (in short and collectively “The Body Shop”), securely, anywhere in the world and for it to be shared with only The Body Shop franchisees, subsidiaries and subcontractors (Vendors, acting as Data Processors) and processed for the exclusive purpose of:

(i) managing your Love Your.Body™ membership (if you are a member) or sending to you product(s) or promotional items, coupons or gifts that you might have ordered, accepted or won, or for processing exchanges and returns or responding to requests and complaints (“The First Purpose”) and
(ii) any of the following: communication with you by any of the means that you have opted to make available to us (such as email, post, text messages etc) for the purpose of keeping you informed of The Body Shop® products, services, news, and offers, or to allow you to participate in customer research, (provided you have opted in to receive such communications by ticking the appropriate boxe on the relevant form), or in order that we may analyze our sales, your needs and preferences, or to improve our distribution channels and our marketing methods (“The Second Purpose”, and together “The Purposes”).

We promise we will never share your information with third parties not directly associated with The Body Shop (other than those mentioned above) without your further explicit consent. This Privacy Statement sets out in summary our responsibilities in relation to the processing of your Personal Information and it applies together with our more detailed Corporate Privacy Policy available at http://www.thebodyshop.com.sg/Privacy+Policy..aspx (or on request in printed form).

You agree that during your 1-year Love Your Body™ membership (if you are or become a member) you give us your consent to process your Personal Information for the requirements of the membership (First Purpose, mentioned above). Upon expiry of your Love Your Body™ membership we will assume that your consent with respect to the First Purpose has lapsed, and so we will then cease any processing of your Personal Information with respect to the First Purpose, as soon as it is legally permissible for us to do so, pursuant to tax or other relevant legislation.

Further, you may at any time withdraw your Consent with respect to The Second Purpose (“Unsubscribe”) by emailing us at loveyourbodyap@thebodyshop.com. If your Love Your Body™ membership expires we will not assume that you have implicitly withdrawn your Consent from the Second Purpose, unless and until you explicitly Unsubscribe as provided above.
